This well-received series was a comedy-drama about an immigrant family living in 1910s. If anybody still alive who was associated with the series were to write an "I remember" memoir, I'm sure there would be many who would appreciate their documenting an almost forgotten piece of TV history. In the stage show "I Remember Mama," Mama, played by E.J. Drama film directed by George Stevens from a screenplay by DeWitt Bodeen, whose work was adapted from John Van Drutens stage play. This effort has not been lost on audience members who are quick to tell memories they have of growing up in similar houses or memories they have of the “I Remember Mama” TV show, which ran from 1949-1957.
