Now just remove the lid and pop out the filter. The filter allows for easy removal and maintenance. The funnel attaches to the top of the air box and is easily interchangeable with our signature clear lid. We added a silicone lid funnel to isolate the engine heat while tunneling more to your engine. With a high friction surface and no oily residue, our silicone filters and couplers won’t slide off the tube. It handles as much as 400F without cracking or tearing. Silicone is a premium rubber which will seal better and last longer. The cooler the air, the greater the density, resulting in better performance. Our oversized snorkel with lip engulfs more cold air. S&B’s one-piece box design features an integrated box seal with a relocated filter minder location. This kit comes with a fully enclosed airbox that protects the filter from dirt and keeps out engine heat.
